The Best Guacamole

There are many guacamole recipes out there, but none hit the spot like this one. This guacamole is truly the best! So if you want to make a delicious guacamole, you should definitely try this recipe. It’s super quick and easy to prepare and can be served with many different things: tacos, tortillas chips, nachos, quesadillas…

What do you need to make this delicious guacamole?

  • Avocado – The number one rule to make good guacamole is only using ripe avocados. If the avocado isn’t ripe enough, the guacamole will taste too bitter and sour. I know it’s tempting to use unripe avocados if you’re in a rush (we’ve all been there), but I promise you it’s not worth it! The easiest way to tell if an avocado is perfectly ripe is by giving it a little squeeze. It should feel very soft, but not like mushy. If your avocado is still hard, let it sit at room temperature for a few days.
  • Lime juice – Lime works SO well with avocado! Make sure you use fresh lime juice, not bottled juice. It makes such a big difference!
  • Fresh coriander – This might be the most important ingredient since it gives this amazing freshness to the guacamole. Just make sure you chop it finely!
  • Tomato – Make sure it is ripe and red – it will give a lot of flavour and colour to the guacamole. My favourite are large vine tomatoes as they have rich flavour and sweetness.
  • Chilli pepper – Even though I am not fan of spicy food, chilli pepper works so well in guacamole giving just a slight spiciness. Use a red chilli pepper for an extra colour!

I love to serve it with tortilla chips or as a delicious side to my favourite Mexican dishes. My family loves this recipe! Hope you will like it too! Enjoy.
